DJ did not realize how bad his wife’s addiction to painkillers became since the car accident until she started dating an MS13 gang leader to keep her supplied with the heroin she needed. Her new boyfriend felt that the part of the marriage vow, death do us part was quicker than a divorce, now attempt to kill him. After an attempt in the quiet Atlantic City community in which they lived a neighbor told DJ he knew a retired cop that might be able to help him.
The neighbor finally gets DJ to agree to take the help from his friend a retired police officer, despite his mistrust of police. As if his life was not falling apart enough DJ gets his identity stolen. The retired policeman, named Jimmy told him don’t worry about it since his wife already ruined his credit by running up his credit cards and buying vehicles in his name. Jimmy went on to say whoever the thief tries to sell the information to will probably beat the thief up since his credit is so bad.
It was a different story to the accounting firm who DJ works for as a janitor, they convince him to sign up for credit protection. After his boss verifies that it is a legitimate bank, and the funds are in the account under his name the guys at his job keep telling him he has to get that money. It was time for the bad guys to get STUNG.
Again, Jimmy the retired cop advises DJ to stay away from any notion of hatching a scheme to get the money, and he has no idea the groups that he is looking to cross and no idea of the repercussions that would come from it. But DJ just could not get that $5,000,000 out of his head, like a lottery ticket it just keeps eating away at him just sitting there in a bank in his name. Getting there would be the hardest
thing …
Despite everything Jimmy, the cop done to help DJ with advising him in his divorce, criminal charges his wife filed against him and keeping him safe from MS13 who were trying to kill him being the right advise every time, DJ doesn’t listen and goes for the money.
